Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is less than an hour drive from Lawrence.

There are two shuttle services that run from the airport to Lawrence. Midwest Transportation Services runs every two hours and is $50 round trip. They recommend making a reservation through their Web site or by calling (785) 865-2872. Kansas Transportation Services runs every hour and a half and is $60 round trip. They recommend making a reservation through their Web site or by calling (785) 841-7321. Please make your reservations at least one day in advance and mention the name of the conference when registering to get the special rate.

Car rental is also available at the airport. Kansas highways are wide and open and driving is a pleasure at any time of the day.
